The Council's Natural Environment Policy specialist has been consulted on the submitted information and recommends that the condition is discharged. This condition is discharged on the basis of the following submitted information: Sustainability Report 2021-22, Renewable Energy Summary, Net Zero Carbon Design Note, Ground Source Heat Pump, Green Travel Plan, Green Plan 2022-25 and Gantry with transport device details.

Prior to the first occupation of the approved emergency department building, a scheme for renewable energy production equipment to provide a minimum of 20% of the building's total predicted energy requirements shall be submitted to and agreed in writing by the local planning authority. Thereafter the approved scheme shall be installed in the emergency department.
